Pvt Edward D. Clark attended Dawson County High School and was employed at the Anaconda Copper Mine before he enlisted at Fort Douglas, Utah on 18 August 1944. He was trained at Camp Hood, Texas before he was sent overseas in January 1945.

He was killed by small arms fire in the face.
