Sgt Robert A. Limmer worked in an aircraft building.

He enlisted in Baltimore City on 11 February 1943.

In October 1944, he was wounded in action in France by artillery shell fragments to his face and neck.

In January 1945 he was wounded in action by artillery shell fragments to his abdomen and arm. He was treated in a general hospital and died of his wounds. His remains then became missing.
