Pfc Carlo Puglia attended high school for four years and was a sharpener employed at the Watertown Arsenal.

He enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 5 April 1943.

He was severly wounded in action by artillery shell fragments in December 1944. He died of his wounds on 1 January 1945. The exact date when he was reported wounded and the location are not known.
