Pvt Radis A. Vise graduated from the Garrett High School and was a brakeman employed by the B&O Company.

He enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 17 August 1944 and had his training at South Camp Hood, Texas and at Fort Meade, Maryland. He was sent overseas on 1 January 1945.
