T/5 Sidney Katz was a stenographer employed with the Business Letter Service Inc.He enlisted in New York City, New York on 2 March 1943.
For his actions in Anzio, Italy on 1 March 1944, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.
He was killed by small arms fire to the thorax.
