Sgt Adolph F. Fachet attended high school for four years and was a machine operator, employed by F.M. Metzger.

He enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 1 October 1942.

On 24 May 1944 he was wounded in action in Italy by artillery shell fragments at his knee. He left the hospital in June.

From November until December 1944 he was in the hospital for hepatitis and asthma.

He was killed by small arms fire in the head.
