Pvt Charles T. Lindberg attended Westport High School for four years and was a clerk responsible for the rental of the gas cylinders from the Linde Air Products Company.

He enlisted at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas on 1 September 1943 and was sent overseas in July 1944.

He was killed by small arms fire to the thorax.
