Pfc Edward J. Olive was a truck driver employed by N.P. Rail Way.

He enlisted in October 1943.

From April 1944 until August 1944, he was hospitalized in Italy for wounds at his hand and a wound infection caused by a fall.

On 21 September 1944 he was killed in action, together with 3 other members ofhis company, including the company commander during a German ambush in the vicinity of Le Marchessant, France.
