Pvt Cecil H. Mc Teer attended high school for four years and was a financial clerk, employed at the Bank of Yemassee.He enlisted at Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina on 26 November 1943.
Pvt. Mc Teer was wounded in action by small arms fire to the lung, spine, and trunk in October 1944. The exact date is not known. He died of his wounds 10 October. The location is not known.
