Pvt Archie J. Morrison graduated from Bad Ax High School in 1939.

He was married to Cecelia Harford on 21 November 1940 and worked on the family farm.

He enlisted at Fort Sheridan, Illinois on 3 August 1944 and had his training at Camp Fannin, Texas before he was sent overseas on 8 January 1945.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his head.
