Pfc James H. Honeybell was unemployed before he enlisted in Syracuse, New York on 3 August 1943.

From August 1944 to October 1944 he was hopitalized for wounds to his arm and forehead caused by a landmine exlposion.

He was killed by a landmine explosion.
