Pvt Stanley K. Olsen attended high school for one year and was employed by the Cadillac Motor Co.

He enlisted in April 1943.

From April 1944 to June 1944, he was hospitalized in Italy for wounds to his head caused by small arms fire.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments to the thorax.

He was born as Stanley Karl Olszewski but changes his name to Olsen, probably short before he enlisted.
