Sgt Stephen Potisuk was a punch press operator, employed by the Black & Decker Company, before he enlisted at Fort Hayes, Columbus, Ohio on 31 March 1942.

On 24 March 1944 and 11 April 1944, he was wounded in Italy by artillery shell fragments.

He was killed by small arms fire in his back.
