More information

Pfc Francis M. Childers was employed by the North Western Brass Foundry Co. before he enlisted in March 1943.
In October 1944 he was wounded in action by artillery shell fragments at the thigh and face. He was hospitalized until December.
In January 1945 he was wounded in action by a bullet at his elbow and stayed in the hospital until February.
