1st Lt John C. Husing graduated from Lymbrook High School and attended the University of Vermont.He was a sales man before he joined the Regular Army where he had his training at Camp Edwards, Massachusetts.
For his actions on 25 October 1944 he was awarded the Silver Star Medal posthumously.
