Sgt Ralph H. Williams attended high school for four years and was an accountant, employed by J.J. Fallon.

He enlisted at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on 5 April 1943.

From February 1944 to March 1944, he was hopitalized in Italy for wounds caused by artillery shell fragments to the shoulder.

In May 1944, he was wounded again by small arms fire to the thorax and hospitalized until August 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
