Pfc Otto J. Schubert graduated from Hamilton High School in 1932 and worked in a machine shop.

He enlisted at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland on 10 February 1942.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his back.

Pfc Schubert is remembered at Highland Cemetery in Hopewell, Mercer County, New Jersey with a memorial marker.
