Pfc Otis C. Earp attended high school for one year and was employed with the Trane Co.

He enlisted on 13 March 1943.

Pfc Earp was wounded in action by artillery shell fragments to the thorax, buttock, and hip, in Anzio, Italy and hospitalized from March 1944 to May 1944.

In September 1944 he was again wounded by artillery shell fragments to the leg and arm. The exact date when he was reported wounded in action and the location where he died is not known.

He is remembered on a monument in Rupt, France.
