Pfc George J. Kasuba was a chauffeur, employed by the Pennsylvania Industrial Engineers Company.

He enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 24, October 1941 and was sent overseas on 4 January 1944.

During the night of 17-18 January 1945, the 2nd Battalion and the Anti-Tank Company were withdrawn from the lines in the vicinity of Hachimette, France. Pfc Kasuba was reported missing in action.

He was declared officially dead one year and one day after he was reported missing.
