Pfc David A. Wolaver graduated from Ann Arbor High School in 1942 and attended University of Michigan for a semester.

He enlisted in Kalamazoo, Michigan on 26 April, 1943.

Pfc Wolaver was killed by artillery shell fragments to the skull and leg.
