Sgt Jack W. Moore graduated from Parowan High School before he joined the Regular Army at Fort Douglas, Utah on 19 March 1936. He served for three years in the Phillippines. In 1940 he was employed at the U.S. Military Reservation Veterinary Station Hospital.

He was killed by small arms fire in the head.
