Capt Paul G. Harris attended high school for four years and was a gardener before he enlisted on 20 March 1941.He was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for his actions with the 1st Battalion, B Company in Beuandon, France on 13 September 1944.
The Silver Star Medal was awarded for his actions with HQ & HQ Company on 5 February 1945.
