Pvt Alphonse J. Ceimo was a store keeper, employed by the Bergen Point Iron Works.

He enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 13 November 1942 and and went overseas in April, 1943. He fought in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and the invasion of France.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
