Pfc Joseph Lamonica attended Paterson Vocational School and was a production worker employed by the Watson Flagg Engineering Co. before he enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 31 July 1943.He was killed by small arms fire in the thorax.
His brother Michael also served in Europe.
