Pfc Andrew Sofilkanich was an ore dresser, employed by Bethlehem Steel Co. before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 1 March 1943.
In July 1944, in Italy, he was wounded by artillery shell fragments in the buttock and hip. He was discharged from medical care in November 1944.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the buttock and the hip.
