Cpl Robert L. Graney attended Roy High School and the Syracuse University where he studied journalism. Here he joined the Reserve Officers Training Corps and graduated in 1943.He had his training at Fort Benning, Georgia and Camp Meade, and was sent overseas in July 1944.
He was killed by a bullet in his back.
