Pvt Dan Moore was employed by the Jeffery Lumber Co. before he enlisted in March 1944.He trained at Camp Robinson and Camp Maxey before going overseas in December 1944.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments at his head, abdomen, pelvis and back.
