Pvt John J. Kline was raised, after the death of his mother, in the St. Mary’s Boys Orphans Asylum.He attended high school for four years and was employed by the Temple Theater before he joined the Regular Army in Rochester, New York in 1938.
He was killed by small arms fire in the thorax.
