Pfc Michael T. Giblin emigrated from Ireland on 7 May 1928. He attended high school for four years and was a machinist before he enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 12 January 1944.In November 1944 he was wounded by artillery shell fragments in the shoulder. He was discharged from the hospital a month later.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the thorax.
