Pfc Cloyse E. Hall attended high school for four years and was employed in the Civilian Conservation Corps.
He enlisted in Roanoke, Virginia on 8 May 1943.
He was awarded the Silver Star Medal posthumously for his action on the day of his death. He was killed by small arms fire in the head.
