Pfc Ralph C. Jones was a construction worker employed by RFW no2 Construction before he enlisted on 11 July 1942.

In May 1944, in Italy, he was wounded in the tigh by artillery shell fragments. He was discharged from the hospital in June 1944. In September, in France, he was wounded again by artillery shell fragments in the neck, face and cranium. He was discharged from the hospital in November 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the abdomen, pelvis and thorax.
