Sgt Jesus S. Llamas attended the University of New Mexico before he enlisted at Ft. Bliss, El Paso Texas on 8 August 1942.He served one year in the Aleutians in an Army Air Force outfit. He returned to the U.S. and then transferred to the infantry and was sent overseas in December 1944.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his leg and thorax.
