Pfc Clinton W. Crouch attended Centralia Township High School and was a student before he enlisted on 10 March 1943.

In February 1944, in Italy, he was wounded by artillery shell fragments at his cheek and thigh. In July 1944, in Italy, he was wounded again by artillery shell fragments at the thigh. He was discharged from hospital in August 1944.

He was killed by a bullet in the neck.
