Pvt John M. Denison attended high school for three years and was employed at the Quartermaster Laundry in Camp Blending, Florida before he enlisted at Fort McPherson, Atlanta, Georgia on 27 April 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the thorax and his back.
