Pfc Kenneth A. Rawlings was a chauffeur, employed by A.B. Cable Co. before he enlisted in Toledo, Ohio on 19 February 1943.
In May 1944 he was wounded at his thigh by a hand grenade explosion during the Italian campaign. In June 1944 he was discharged from hospital.
Pfc Rawlings was awarded the Silver Star Medal posthumously on the day he was killed.
