S/Sgt Andrew Kelley was a miner, employed by Jones & Laughlin Vest 4 Mine in Pittsburgh.He enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 25 July 1941.
He was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his action on 3 November 1944 when the 15th Infantry Regiment attacked the village of La Salle.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the thorax.
