Pfc Christopher C. Chiamack attended high school for three years and was an elevator operator employed by the Woolworth Company in Pittsburgh before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 22 May 1943. He was sent overseas on 18 November 1943.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the kidneys.
