Pfc Raymond E. Schultz attended high school for four years before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 16 February 1943.

He was reported wounded in action on 22 February 1945 in France and died to the effects of artillery shell fragments in his face and thigh on 27 February 1945.
