Pfc Benjamin F. Brantley was a truck driver before he enlisted at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on 2 November 1943.
He was killed by a hand grenade fragment in his thigh.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
