Cpl Malcolm G. Bridgham attended Gorham High School was employed at the local First National Store before he enlisted in Portland, Maine on 15 July 1943. He was sent overseas in August of 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his chest and face.

He is remembered at the Riverside Cemetery in South Paris, Oxford County, Maine.
