1st Lt Hal L. Bruner graduated from Rayne High School in 1930 and the University of Texas Law School in 1936. He was a promising young attorney before he enlisted at Camp Livingston, Louisiana on 27 June 1942.He is killed by enemy sniper.
Lt Bruner was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
