S/Sgt Vincent J. McMahon attended high school for four years and was employed at the Novadel Hoene Corp before he enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 22 March 1941.

He was killed by small arms fire in his spine and trunk.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
