Pfc Harry J. Schroeder was employed at the Pennsylvania Rail Road before he enlisted at Camp Grant, Illinois on 5 February 1942.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his stomach.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
