Pvt Charles P. George attended White House Tennessee High School for two years and was employed by the H G Hill Grocery Company before he enlisted at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on 27 March 1943. He was sent overseas in November 1943.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his leg.
