Pvt Kenneth E. Creek attended Hammond High School for four years and was a driver at the Rogers Trucking Company before he enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 25 May 1943. He was sent overseas in June 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his chest and face.
