1st Lt Daniel J. Foley attended Laurel schools and high school for four years and was a car shop employee of the Northern Pacific Railway before he enlisted at Fort Missoula, Montana on 8 April 1941. He was sent overseas in August 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
