T/5 Joseph Hohol was a baker at Irrmans Bakery.

He enlisted in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on 14 July 1943. He received his basic training at Camp Fannin and was sent overseas in September, 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the chest and head.
