Pfc Calvin J. Farnham attended high school for four years and worked on his own farm before he enlisted at Fort Dix, New York on 29 Apil 1944.

He is also remembered at the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Lakewood, Chautauqua County, New York.

His brother Gerald E. Farnham is buried at Florence American Cemetery, Italy.
