Sgt Arthur A. Morin attended high school for one year and was employed at the Pequot Mills before he enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 17 March 1941.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments to the buttock and hip.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
