Pvt Joseph Ciaramitaro was employed at the Motor Products before he enlisted in April 1944. He was sent overseas in September 1944.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.

Note: two of his sisters were called Lena. The first died very young.
